Just imagine you buy a brand-new blender and the first day you go to use it, it breaks, yes literally a blade brakes off. Or you buy an iPhone charge cord and 1 week later the cord is no good. Or how about you purchase a set of EarPods and that too a week later breaks also. The last straw is when we bought a supposed top brand back up battery for 80k and within just a few days of purchasing, the battery broke, would not charge or keep a charge. And the worst part you keep buying some of these same everyday essential items over and over week after week or month after month. Spending your hard earn money, on products that are supposed to last and give you a fair time of use. How frustrating is that?
These are just a few of the frustrating and costly experiences husband and wife the Kelechi’s, founders of 4B Gadgets experience in Nigeria, while embarking on their newly wed journey to that place called home. And one day out of sheer frustration the wife not a native of Nigeria got fed up & decided to stop spending her hard-earned money on cheap in-effective products from Nigeria. She started shipping some of the very same products they use in there homes overseas. To their new home in Nigeria. Quality Products that oddly are very hard to find in Nigerian markets.
And one day the wife said to the husband, “hubby what if we start importing some of these quality products and sold them here in Nigeria?” “Products we know are branded, hi quality, reliable and hard to get goods.” “We can build an entire business on delivering top notch quality goods!”. “Putting an end to the cycle consumer abuse in Nigeria!” “What do you think?” She asked her husband.
